Staff Attorney

Aaron Littman joined the Impact Litigation Unit of SCHR in 2017, after clerking for Judge Stephen Reinhardt on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and Judge Myron Thompson in the Middle District of Alabama.  He graduated in 2014 from Yale Law School, where he represented immigrants in removal defense and civil rights cases through the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic, and co-authored an article on prison visitation regulations published in the Yale Law and Policy Review, based on research conducted in conjunction with the Liman Public Interest Program.  He spent summers working for the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice and as a Justice Stevens Fellow at the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project.  He holds an M.Phil. in Criminological Research from the University of Cambridge, and a B.A. in Political Science from Yale College.  He is a member of the Georgia, New York, and Massachusetts bars.
