Ambassador Pledge

The Southern Center for Human Rights (SCHR) Ambassadors are young professionals who seek to engage with, spread awareness of, and cultivate resources to support SCHR and its work. Through their involvement, Ambassadors are given opportunities to expand their personal and professional networks while advancing SCHR’s critical litigation and advocacy work in the Southern United States.

As an Ambassador, I support SCHR’s efforts to promote equality, justice, and dignity in our criminal justice system. I pledge to:

  • Support SCHR’s mission to end capital punishment, mass incarceration, and other criminal justice practices that are used to control the lives of poor people, people of color, and other marginalized groups in the Southern United States;
  • Attend and/or help organize 2-3 SCHR or SCHR Ambassador events annually;
  • Contribute $250 annually, whether as an individual or as a result of fundraising and/or employer matching gifts (Consider becoming a sustaining donor through the Pillars of Justice Society);
  • Encourage friends and colleagues to support SCHR’s work, whether through volunteering, sharing on social media, making a financial contribution, or attending SCHR events.
