Justice Day 2019

Justice Day 2019

On February 26, 2019, the Southern Center for Human Rights along with our partners under the Justice Reform Partnership will come together to host the 8th Annual Justice Day at the Capitol.

Justice Day will bring together a wide array of community members and organizations to show our legislators that ALL Georgians deserve true criminal justice reform and the demand for change is strong. The morning program at the Sloppy Floyd Building will feature leaders in the criminal justice reform movement, followed by time to converse with legislators at the Capitol and a rally in Liberty Plaza.

  • Join other Georgians and raise your voice!
  • Hear from criminal justice reform leaders
  • Share your personal story with lawmakers
  • Learn from people impacted by our systems
  • Work together to transform Georgia
  • Demand change
  • Join the movement

If you’re interested in getting involved before Justice Day, check out Talk Justice Tuesdays.

Every Tuesday of the 2019 Legislative Session, the Justice Reform Partnership will host an opportunity for people interested in criminal justice reform to come together and to advocate for specific policy reforms. Come tell your elected officials about the issues that matter most to you and how they can support changes that will improve the communities most impacted by the criminal legal system. All are welcome.
