Bernard Johnathan Saunders

Bernard is currently an M&A professional and Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Advisory within their Delivering Deal Value (DDV) group. Bernard primarily focuses on Integrations, Divestitures / Carve-Outs and Due Diligence. Prior to his move to PwC, Bernard led strategic, valuation and analysis as part of the Acquisitions & Disposition team at Principal Financial Group. Prior to joining Principal, Bernard worked in many finance & treasury capacities at PulteGroup & Trimont Real Estate Advisors.  Bernard began his career at J.P.Morgan, working in the Securities Lending department working with large large scale clients across the east coast.

Born and raised on the westside of Atlanta, Bernard dedicates his time giving back and is active in his community with involvement in the Big Brother Big Sister program of Greater Atlanta and Project Destined – Atlanta. With prior board service experience serving in a finance capacity for The Community Foundation of Greater Athens, Bernard helped with fundraising, finance & auditing and marketing and communications.

He earned his MBA from the Terry College of Business at University of Georgia in Athens concentrating in Strategy, Finance & Real Estate. Prior to receiving his MBA, Bernard earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
