Micah Herskind

Micah Herskind joined SCHR’s Public Policy Unit in 2020 as a Public Policy Associate, where he has conducted policy research and advocacy to reduce the scale and scope of the criminal legal system. Micah is also a freelance writer, and has written for New York Magazine, Vogue, Defector, Teen Vogue, and Race & Class. Prior to joining SCHR, Micah worked as a paralegal at the Federal Defender Program in Atlanta. Micah graduated in 2019 from Princeton University.
