Taylor Bonner

Taylor Bonner received a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan studying Management of Human Services and Community and Social Systems, achieving certification in African-Centered Social Work.

As a student, Taylor interned at the State Appellate Defender Office, supporting litigation efforts in the resentencing of Michigan’s juvenile lifer population and conducting qualitative and quantitative research on their experiences before, during, and after incarceration. Since then, Taylor has dedicated her work towards providing direct supportive services to formerly incarcerated Detroiters while advocating for their re-entry needs and promoting organizational Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives.
