SCHR 40 Years, 40 Stories: 40th Anniversary!
For the last forty years, SCHR has dedicated itself to reimagining equal justice, resulting in numerous victories in the struggle to create a justice system that is fair, just, and humane. Since 1976, SCHR, a nonprofit law firm in Atlanta, Georgia, has been a force for change in the criminal justice system. Our mission is to represent people facing the death penalty, challenge human rights violations in prisons and jails, and advocate for criminal justice system reforms on behalf of those affected by the system in the Southern United States.
