SCHR Reentry Retreat 2023
On September 27, 2023, the Southern Center for Human Rights (SCHR) hosted its 2nd Annual Reentry Retreat in Atlanta, Georgia, dedicated to SCHR’s reentry clients and designed to allow them a judgment-free space to connect, learn invaluable skills, and address the traumas related to incarceration and returning home. Attendees came from across Georgia and Alabama, having served an average of 23 years and ranging in age from 53 to 70.
