Sarah E. Kelsey

Sarah Kelsey is a Staff Attorney in the Atlanta Legal Aid Society Disability Integration Project, assisting Georgians who are at risk of institutionalization with access to services in the community. Previously, she worked in Atlanta Legal Aid’s Home Defense program assisting Atlanta-area homeowners with foreclosure prevention and fighting home theft scams. She joined the SCHR Ambassadors in 2017 and has served as the Co-Chair of the Ambassadors Leadership Council since 2021. She is also the Chair of the Maureen Donohue Habitat Conservation Fund Committee for the Georgia Botanical Society.

Sarah graduated with honors from Emory Law School in 2016, where she served as executive managing editor of the Emory International Law Review. Prior to law school, Sarah worked as a botanist, and she continues to volunteer her time with conservation organizations and community science initiatives to locate and document wildlife throughout the state. Sarah is currently the top contributor to the community science platform iNaturalist for the state of Georgia.
