Thank you, New York!

We want to extend a warm thank you to everyone who attended our 2024 annual New York benefit reception. It was a lovely evening of community and connection, as we reflected upon the great strides that we have made towards making equality, dignity, and justice a reality for all.

We were delighted to celebrate the release of Demand the Impossible: One Lawyer’s Pursuit of Equal Justice for All, authored by Robert Tsai, which chronicles the life and times of Stephen B. Bright, and we were honored to have both Robert and Steve in attendance to discuss the book.

We would especially like to thank Dr. Janet Dewart Bell for so graciously opening her home and hosting the event. Dr. Bell continues to be pivotal in helping us spread the good news about SCHR and maintain such a strong community of New York-based supporters.
